Like a painting. Like an album artwork. Like a postcard. Like something Monet would’ve made. Like a scene from a movie.

I hope to be able to explore more islands of Nusa Tenggara Timur—the nature’s beauty is unmatched. April was the first ever time I step foot on the region. I was immediately presented with the massive cotton candy clouds and endless blue skies, followed by sparkling, crystal clear waters. Breathtaking is an understatement. I saw pink sand for the first time.
In the morning, I read The Passion According to G.H. by the beach, which I thought would be relaxing but as the sea breeze brushes through my damp, salty hair, flipping some pages of the book, I got the impression that the waters were inviting me to just… stare. Look into the distance. There’s just no end, is there? I can’t decide whether the book made it better or made it worse. I’m nothing yet I am living, breathing, existing. And then I jumped into the water.
